In his younger form he had incredible charisma and self-confidence combined with quiet enthusiasm, while his older one seemed to have endured uncountable evils without being broken. Torm's apparent demeanor seemed slightly different based on his current persona. No matter his form, he seemed stern in voice and manner, with dauntless courage set in his square jaw and righteous light flashing from his striking, deep blue eyes. Sometimes his form was that of a blond, handsome young man, while at others he was an aging warrior with grey-white hair, though he often shapeshifted into a lion-headed man when entering combat. Neither do the FR versions of Belenus (he's most likely a god of healing in our world), Brigantia (she's associated with Minerva and thus most likely not a goddess of livestock and rivers), Cernunnos (a Gaulish god who's not associated with the Wild Hunt nor Tír na nÓg), Dunatis (Doesn't exist in our world as far as I can tell) and Math Mathonwy (Not a god and not a mage in the FR sense either).Torm could appear as a 12 feet (3.7 meters) tall man in ancient, helmless plate mail stained dusky purple. The book that brought the Celtic Pantheon into the Forgotten Realms basically said "let historical accuracy be damned." Silvanus in his FR form doesn't exist in our world. Or rather, there's a multitude of options because every cultural group, every tribe has slightly different deities. Who would then be the Celtic nature god? We don't know. Point is, he's not a one-to-one fit with FR Silvanus because of different cultural traditions. He's a local Brythonic god (so from the northern parts of England) who in the east of that region is considered a god of forests and hunting and in the west is considered a god of war akin to Mars (Roman) source. There are some deities we find in multiple separate cultural groups but each cultural group made the deity their own. Each of these groups had their own culture and their own religion and pantheon. Scots-Gaelic is based on Irish Gaelic) and the Continental Celts who lived across the whole of Europe: they were found in modernday France, Italy, Spain, Austria, parts of Germany, and Turkey, amongst other places. Celts were found throughout the whole of Europe: we had the Insular Celts who lived on the British Isles (the proto-Irish and proto-Welsh so to say. "Celtic religion" isn't really a thing: "Celtic" refers to people speaking a language that belongs to the Celtic language group. In our history a Celtic pantheon doesn't exist: the FR Celtic pantheon is a cobbled together mess of Welsh and Irish deities and legendary heroes that wouldn't have been a unity in our world. Just accept that FR history isn't true to our history.
